My Life Unplugged
So I am sure at this point you may be wondering a few things:
1. How did I end up here?
2. How did YOU end up here?
The answer is simple, whatever is wrong with me is probably something that is/has been wrong with you or someone you know.
My name is Krishna and I am a certified crash out and I say that proudly. I simply don’t see the point in denying the truth, my truth. However, I do believe it to be genetic, my mom and sister are also crash outs, they just don’t know it. I can also attribute it to the fact that I have diagnosed Bipolar Disorder and ADHD. Due to these diagnoses I have the incredible ability to yap for HOURS, I just don’t always have someone to yap to and not everyone understands what is going on in my noggin for me to get to the conversational points I bring up.
Why is this relevant? Well, because not only am I neurospicy but I am also a first-gen Latina that grew up in a household where mental health was a stigmatized conversational topic so imagine my family’s surprise when I decided to seek help. Pandemic really did not help my case, as was the same for most people, and I did in fact want to die but clearly I did not and I am still here and lowkey thriving. I do have to take a cocktail of mind skittles to stay sane but that is just part of the fun.
So, what do we know about me so far?
1. My name is Krishna.
2. I am first-gen Latina.
3. On the neurospicy side of life.
4. If you couldn’t already tell by my verbiage, I am also Gen Z.
